Out at Dalkeith, Go Ape strings zip lines and rope bridges through the trees above the River Esk, with a course for ages four and up from £10. If you're planning a party for young children, Go Ape is the one that fits, with toilets, baby change and a picnic area on site for afterwards. If it's a grown-up celebration you're after, Gutterball covers bowling, food and karaoke in one booking, though you'll need to check the 18+ rule works for your group.
