Mexican & Latin American in Derby

Derby has a small but solid clutch of Mexican and Latin American spots, all close to the centre. Amigo Derby does Tex-Mex burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and nachos, and has been doing them since 2018, with takeaway and delivery if you cannot face going out. Pepitos Restaurant sizzles fajitas and tacos at the table and has a proper children's menu for family nights out. Las Iguanas on Friar Gate covers tacos and fajitas too, and runs Kids Eat Free, which makes a real difference on the bill. For families, Las Iguanas and Pepitos are the easier choices, both set up with children's menus rather than just tolerating them. If cost is the deciding factor, the Kids Eat Free deal at Las Iguanas is worth building an evening around. Amigo Derby suits a night in as much as a night out, since delivery is on the table. All three are indoors with toilets on site, so weather is not a factor either way.
