Garden Centres in Derby
There's only one garden centre on the list for Derby, and it's a bit of a drive out to Trowell, near Nottingham. Trowell Garden Centre has parking, toilets and two cafés on site, which makes it more of a wander-and-lunch stop than a day built around kids. It's not set up with play areas or animals to see, so go in with the right expectations: browse the plants, grab something to eat, then head off. There's free parking, which helps if you're only popping in for a coffee. Fine for older children who'll tag along happily for cake, less so for toddlers with no space to run about.
