Dance in Bristol

If you fancy learning to dance properly rather than just shuffling at a wedding, Bristol has a few good routes in. Easton Social Dancing runs private or small-group ballroom and Latin lessons from £45, built around salsa, with a monthly night out to actually use what you've learned. Dance Factory Bristol teaches six-week courses of real Strictly Come Dancing routines, and the classes are popular enough that they book out, so don't leave it too late. Both are a short trip from the centre. For something adults-only, Bristol Dance Experience runs beginner Ballroom and Latin classes for over 18s at £8.50 a session, cash only and no booking needed, which makes it an easy one to just turn up to. If you want structure and a partner or small group, go for Easton or Dance Factory. If you'd rather try a single class with no commitment, the drop-in adults' session is the cheapest way to test whether dancing is for you.
