Aquariums & Sea Life in Bristol
Bristol itself doesn't have an aquarium on the books right now, so this list stretches out into south Wales. It's a mixed bag rather than a straight sea life day out. There's a longer trip out to Newport for Newport Pets in Lliswerry, a pet shop where you can browse tanks of fish and aquarium kit alongside live birds and a dog groomer working from the same store, plus free parking if you're driving over. The other option isn't really for kids at all. Revival Floatation Centre, a longer trip out in Cardiff, is an adults-only (18+) float centre where you lie in warm saltwater for an hour and switch off. If you want fish tanks and something to look at with your kids, head for Newport. If you fancy an hour of quiet on your own, that's the one to book in Cardiff.
