Art & Craft Classes in Stoke-on-Trent

Pottery is the obvious craft here, but the classes on this page are more about getting your hands into something else entirely. LoveKnott Creations, close to the centre, runs workshops where you make your own mosaic plaque, stone art or a Powertex sculpture from recycled bottles, taking two to four hours and starting from £40. A drive out to Sandbach, Sandbach Craftworks covers sewing, Sashiko, overlocking, Gelli printing and art journaling, with sessions pitched from babies right up to adults. If you want something local and quick to book into, LoveKnott is the nearer option, though the price and the time commitment suit older children and adults more than toddlers. Sandbach Craftworks is worth the trip if you want an age range that stretches properly young, or if sewing and printing appeal more than sculpture and mosaics. Both need booking ahead rather than turning up on spec.
