Sheffield's karting scene comes down to one track right now: Karting Nation, about a couple of miles out from the centre. It's outdoor, 470 metres of tarmac, and the 270cc karts get up to 50mph, so this isn't a gentle spin round cones. There's free parking and food on site, which helps if you're making an afternoon of it. One thing to know before you book: it's 16 plus only, no exceptions for younger kids or family sessions.
