Hull
What it’s like
A late-night club on Hull's waterfront with three dancefloors, laser and confetti cannon moments, and admission from £3 if you're in early.
This is a club night, not a family venue, so it's for the 18-plus crowd only and you'll need ID on you even if you're well past the age where that feels insulting. Three levels each run a different genre. The lighting rig, lasers and the confetti cannon moments are clearly the bit the venue wants you talking about the next morning, and from the sound of it they don't hold back.
Admission works on a release system that climbs through the night: £3 on early release, £4 once general release kicks in, and £5 once you hit second release or final release, so getting there early is the obvious way to save a few quid. A £2 queue jump is going if you'd rather skip the line than save the money. Doors are late, 10:30pm on Fridays and a proper 10pm to 4am stretch on Saturdays, so this isn't a plan-your-evening-around-teatime kind of night out.
If you're marking a birthday or want your own patch of the dancefloor, there's a run of booth options. A birthday booth is £10, a disco booth £20, and dancefloor, raised and boujee booths are each £80. Push to a boujee dancefloor booth and you're at £125, which buys you the best spot in the house if that matters to your group.
Management can refuse entry if you're intoxicated or don't look the part, and tickets are non-refundable if that happens.
