What it’s like

Fast-turnaround ramen and noodle bowls on shared benches, open late most nights, no booking needed for small families.

This is the ramen and noodle spot you go to when everyone wants something different and nobody wants to wait long for it. It's bench seating rather than cosy booths, which suits a family that eats fast and doesn't linger over dessert menus. Food tends to arrive as it's cooked rather than all at once, so don't expect the whole table's bowls to land together.

There's baby changing on site, and the whole place is one level with removable benches, so getting a buggy or a wheelchair to a table isn't the faff it can be in older buildings. There's wifi and a hearing loop too if either of those matters for your visit.

You don't need to book if there are fewer than four of you, walk-ups are fine. Bigger groups can book ahead through the group bookings page, which is worth doing if you're descending as an extended family for someone's birthday. It's open from 11am every day, running to 10pm most nights and 11pm Thursday to Saturday, so there's plenty of room either side of the usual dinner rush.

Worth knowing if anyone in your crew has allergies or needs gluten-free: the kitchen doesn't promise dishes are free of cross-contact, since everything's prepared in shared areas. Ask when you order rather than assuming.
