What it’s like
A big indoor inflatable arena with a rodeo bull, wipeout arms and a base jump platform for launching off into a cushioned landing.
This one's all inflatables, not trampolines in the usual sense, so if your kids have done every trampoline park in Preston already this is a different kind of bounce. There's a Rodeo Bull to try and stay on, an Unclimbable Ladder that's exactly as tricky as it sounds, and a Meltdown game with rotating arms that will wipe out anyone who isn't paying attention. The Base Jump platform is the one to save for last, a proper high launch onto a cushioned base that'll get the nerves going before the jump.
Sessions run 1 to 2 hours, and you can bolt on a second hour at a discount if the kids aren't ready to stop, which they never are. There's no strict age limit on most sessions, but Wacky Monsters is set aside for the 0 to 5s on weekdays during term time, and there are early weekend toddler sessions too if you want the place before it fills with older kids. Grip socks are compulsory for anyone 5 and up and cost £2.50 on site if you turn up without your own, so it's worth chucking a pair in the bag.
Parking's free and on site, which helps, though it does get properly busy at peak times, so don't cut it fine if you've booked a specific slot. You're told to arrive 10 minutes early anyway for waivers and check-in. The Wacky Diner does pizzas and kids meals plus the usual pop and slushes, but you can't bring your own food or drink in, which stings a bit if you've already packed snacks for the car journey.
If you're just there to watch rather than bounce, you don't need a ticket at all, there are two seating areas for parents happy to sit this one out. Bear in mind the music and lighting can be louder than you'd expect for a kids' venue, worth knowing if you've got a child who's sensitive to noise.
