What it’s like
An 18-hole outdoor adventure golf course through trees and streams, taking about an hour to finish.
Eighteen holes wind through trees, flowers and streams, and the site reckons on an hour to an hour and twenty minutes to get round, which sounds about right for a course with any bit of scenery to stop and look at. It's outdoors and unfloodlit, so opening hours shift with daylight rather than the clock, and that's worth knowing before you plan an evening round in winter.
There's no need to book, but they're upfront that summer weekends and school holidays get busy, and they'll fit you in on the day if there's space rather than guaranteeing it. Booking gets you a 15-minute arrival window, which takes the guesswork out of turning up and queuing. A family ticket is £24, which against £7.50 for an adult and £6.50 for a child works out sensible enough if there's two of each.
It runs right through the year, glow golf aside, which only happens from late November into December. Parking's not on site, but Charlotte Street and Royal Avenue car parks are close by, and if you're coming by train it's a ten-minute walk through town from Bath Spa station.
