What it’s like

Book a simulator bay and play a round on any of 400-plus real golf courses, indoors, whatever the Bristol weather is doing outside.

This is golf without the golf course. You book a simulator bay for an hour, pick from over 400 real courses on the screen, and play a proper round without leaving Bristol. Kids who fancy themselves as the next big thing can go for actual rounds, or you can turn it into a game with longest drive and closest to the pin competitions, which is honestly more fun for a mixed-age group than eighteen holes of the real thing.

Pricing is where you need to do a bit of maths before you book. A solo or small group gets an hour for £35 at peak times or £25 off peak, but if you're going as a proper group it's £30 peak and £45 off peak for the hour, so check which bracket you fall into before you commit. If you've only got time for a quick one, there's a 30 minute lunch session for £15 solo or £17.50 as a group, which is enough for a fast nine holes without eating your whole afternoon.

If you reckon you'll be back, the memberships are worth a look. £60 a month gets four off peak sessions, £75 gets two off peak and two peak sessions, and £100 steps that up to five off peak and two peak. There's a café on site for the inevitable post-round snack, and they do birthday parties too if you want the simulators to be the entertainment rather than just the excuse to get out of the rain.

There's no age range given, so this reads more like a family or teen activity than a toddler one, and with an hour costing £35 at peak times it's not a casual drop-in, more a treat you plan for.

How much does it cost?

An hour is £35 peak or £25 off peak solo, and £30 peak or £45 off peak if you're booking as a group. There's also a 30 minute lunch session for £15 solo or £17.50 for a group.

Is there a cheaper option if we come back regularly?

Yes, there are three membership tiers. £60 a month gets four off peak sessions, £75 gets two off peak plus two peak, and £100 gets five off peak plus two peak.

Do we need to book ahead?

There's no booking link given here, so you'd want to sort your session directly with the venue rather than turning up on spec.

What do the kids actually do?

They play full rounds on real courses through the simulator, or you can set up games like longest drive and closest to the pin if a whole round feels like too much.

Is there food there?

There's a café on site for snacks and drinks after your session.

Can you do a birthday party there?

Birthday parties are one of the things they do, with the simulators as the main event.
