What it’s like
Music, movement and relaxation sessions built around light, colour and sound, run one-to-one or in small groups.
Sessions here are built around the senses rather than a fixed activity list. Expect music and movement work, breathing techniques, massage, dance and relaxation, with light and colour brought in alongside the sound. Some sessions run one-to-one, others as a small group, so it can flex to what a child actually needs that day rather than a set programme everyone does the same way.
With ages starting from birth, this works for babies through to older children who respond better to a calmer, sensory-led session than a loud soft play or a bouncy castle full of six-year-olds. The one-to-one option is worth knowing about if group sessions have never quite worked for your child.
There are two locations to think about. The Cardiff Bay site near the Wales Millennium Centre has disabled parking round the back, seventeen undercover spaces you can book ahead, though the site itself admits there's no exact postcode for it and it can be easy to miss on the first visit. Llanishen station is the nearest stop but it's a good mile from the door. The north Cardiff location, at the Cerebral Palsy Cymru centre, has free parking with disabled bays right there, which is the simpler option if driving. Both buildings are wheelchair accessible, with automatic glass doors at the main entrance.
If you're coming into Cardiff Bay by car, Q-Park Cardiff Bay opposite the WMC is open 24 hours and does discounted booking, or there's Mermaid Quay, the Red Dragon Centre and Havannah Street nearby as alternatives.

Both are offered. One-to-one sessions run alongside group ones, so you can pick whichever suits.
What age is it suitable for?
From birth upwards, so it covers babies through to older children.
Is there parking and is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The Cardiff Bay site has seventeen undercover disabled bays you can book, and the north Cardiff site has free parking with disabled bays. Both buildings are wheelchair accessible with automatic glass doors.
