What it’s like

A Bristol live music venue with age-restricted gigs, so this one's for the teens rather than the younger kids.

This is a gig venue first and foremost, and that shapes who it actually suits. Most live events carry a 14+ restriction, and anyone under 16 needs a responsible adult with them. Club nights are 18+ unless the listing says otherwise, so this isn't somewhere to bring a family in the way you might a soft play or a farm park.

If you've got a teenager keen on a specific show, it's worth knowing about the door policy before you turn up. Trinity runs a Challenge 25 scheme, so anyone who looks under 25 should bring a passport or an EU photo driving licence, and PASS hologram ID cards might be accepted at the venue's discretion. Once you've bought tickets, they're not refundable unless the event itself gets cancelled, which is a bit of a faff if plans change.

On accessibility, the building has wheelchair access on both floors, accessible toilets with radar key access, and a mobile lift for getting onto the stage. There are four accessible parking bays by the daytime entrance, though the car park itself is pay and display and charges apply to everyone, Blue Badge holders included, enforced by ANPR cameras. It's outside the Bristol Clean Air Zone, which is handy if you're driving in from further out.

The building is open for daytime drop-in access Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, separate from the evening gig schedule. If you're coming by train, Temple Meads is about a twenty minute walk away through Temple Quay.
