What it’s like
An all-day café-bar with a kids' menu and board games on the table, open from breakfast until late.
This is the sort of café-bar where nobody minds if you arrive at 4pm wanting brunch or turn up at 10am fancying a burger, because the menu doesn't change with the clock. There's a dedicated Little Loungers menu for children, so you're not stuck negotiating over a grown-up plate, and the vibe is relaxed enough that a slow breakfast with a toddler in tow doesn't feel out of place.
It's free to get in and walk-ins are the normal way to do it. Six or fewer and you just turn up; anything bigger and they'd rather you rang ahead so they can sort the tables. Dogs are welcome too, which is handy if the whole outing involves a lead as well as a buggy.
Food-wise they've put real thought into it. Gluten-free and vegan eaters get proper dedicated menus rather than a token salad, and if anyone at the table has an allergy, a senior staff member takes over that order and preps it separately. There's wifi if you need to keep a teenager quiet or just want to check the football score over a coffee.
They open early and stay open late, 9am to 10pm most days and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Birthday parties and other gatherings can be hosted too, with some branches having quieter corners or dedicated rooms for it, worth a call to see what your local one offers.

Plan your visit
Do we need to book?
Not if there's six of you or fewer, just walk in. Bigger groups should get in touch first so they can sort the tables.
Is there a kids' menu?
Yes, the Little Loungers menu is there for children, separate from the main all-day menu.
What are the opening hours?
9am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Last orders are about an hour before closing.
Can you cater for allergies or vegan diets?
There are dedicated gluten-free and vegan menus with proper choice, not just a couple of salads. Flag any allergy when you order and a senior staff member takes care of it separately in the kitchen.
Can we host a birthday party here?
You can, some branches have quiet corners for pushing tables together and others have a dedicated room. Get in touch with your local one to plan it.
Is it dog friendly?
Dogs are welcome, so no need to leave them at home if the day out involves a walk too.
