What it’s like
A 90-minute river cruise round the docks where the Titanic was built, with a seal colony thrown in along the way.
You get on board for a guided run round the docks where the Titanic actually took shape, with a crew member talking you through the Harland & Wolff crane and the shipyard history as you go. The bit that'll stick is the seal colony, over 50 of them by the site's count, hauled out along the water as you pass.
It runs 90 minutes, which feels about right for the ground it covers without anyone getting restless. There's indoor seating if the weather turns, though the trips themselves are weather-dependent and the captain has the final call on whether they go ahead at all, so a booked slot isn't a guaranteed one.
Sailings run most days, with an extra 4pm slot added through June to September on top of the usual 12 and 2. Booking's required rather than optional, and it's worth knowing they hold you to 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel, with no refund if you're later than that.
Prices sit at £25 for an adult and £15 for a child, or £70 for two adults and two children as a family ticket, which knocks a few pounds off booking separately. It's not a cheap outing for an hour and a half, but you're paying for the boat, the seals and the story together.
