What it’s like
Slides, tunnels and a ball pit for a 2.5 hour session, with a separate area for the under fours.
This one's built around a climbing frame with colourful slides and twisty tunnels, plus a ball pit for the smaller crashes and a bouncy landing. There's a separate area for under fours, so a toddler isn't getting barrelled over by a seven-year-old mid-sprint. Ages run right up to 12, so it holds a mixed group better than most soft play does.
Sessions are 2.5 hours, which is a decent stretch and long enough that you won't be watching the clock the whole time. Socks are compulsory for anyone on the equipment, no shoes or bare feet, so pack a spare pair if yours always seem to vanish in the car. Grown-ups need to stay on-site for the whole session rather than dropping and running, and food and drink stay out of the play areas themselves, with the café presumably where that happens instead.
Prams are allowed in but they'll limit numbers indoors when it's busy, which is fair enough given how tight soft play floors get. It's smoke and vape free throughout, including by the entrances, and you're asked to take off anything sharp or valuable, jewellery, watches, coins, before the kids get going.
Birthday parties are clearly a big part of what they do. The Just Play Party gets you 120 minutes of soft play and 30 minutes in a party room with a host and squash, and the Play & Feast version adds hot or cold food into that same structure. There's also exclusive hire of the whole centre for bigger groups up to 60 guests.
