What it’s like

A tabletop games café where you paint miniatures and play Blood Bowl or Necromunda most days of the week.

This is a spot for tabletop gaming, not the usual board-game-cupboard café. There's Magic: The Gathering Commander Night for £3, a Blood Bowl event at £6, and Necromunda running at £10, so you can dip in for a few quid or settle in for a proper session. Miniature painting and building is part of the offer too, which is the bit that'll hook anyone who likes fiddly, absorbing hobbies more than fast-paced games.

Opening hours are generous most of the week, 10am to 9pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with Sunday finishing earlier at 6pm. Thursday's the odd one out, only open 5pm to 9pm, so that's not the day to plan an afternoon visit around. There's indoor seating and food on site.

The digital rewards card is a nice touch if you're likely to become a regular: five stamps gets you £5 off, ten stamps gets you £10 off. That only really pays off if this becomes your Tuesday or Saturday routine rather than a one-off visit, which given the range of events on offer feels like the point.
