What it’s like
School holiday camp days built round sport, drama and problem-solving challenges for kids aged 5 to 12.
Four sessions a day, and the kids get a say in which activities fill them. Expect basketball, football, tennis, dodgeball, hockey and badminton for the sporty ones, drama for the ones who'd rather perform than pass a ball, and "solve" challenges like fort building and problem-solving games for everyone in between. It's a decent spread for a full day out, so nobody's stuck doing one thing from 9:30 to 4.
Those are the standard hours, 9:30am to 4pm, with an early drop off from 8:15am and a late pick-up until 5pm if you need to bridge the working day. Both extras get added onto your booking rather than turning up on the day.
The one to know before you pack the bag: there's no food on site at all, not even a tuck shop, so a nut-free packed lunch plus morning and afternoon snacks is non-negotiable. Send a water bottle, a change of clothes, any medication, and suncream and a hat once the weather warms up. It suits Year 1 to Year 7 children, so roughly ages 5 to 12, and kids can't start until the September after they turn five.
Booking's online, and it's worth knowing there's a 5% sibling discount, 10% off if you book a month ahead, and 10% off for a full week rather than odd days. They're also Ofsted registered and take Tax-Free Childcare payments, which some holiday clubs skip entirely.
