What it’s like
Weekly dance and drama classes from ballet to cheer street, with a free trial before you commit to a monthly spot.
This is a proper dance school setup, not a drop-in soft play with music on. Kids from age three can try ballet, tap, jazz, acro, musical theatre, drama, singing or cheer street, and there's a dance fitness class too if you've got an older one who fancies something less balletic. Classes are capped at 16 so it stays small enough for a nervous first-timer to be seen, and the year builds towards an annual show performance, which is clearly the bit that turns "I go to dance class" into "I was in a show".
You start with a free taster, which takes the pressure off deciding on the spot. After that they'll ask you to commit to the class rate for the rest of the month, usually just two or three sessions, so you're not signing up blind for a term. Payment then runs monthly by direct debit, and if your child wants to stop, there's no notice period and no lost money for sessions you haven't used yet, which is a fairer setup than most places offer.
Pricing runs by class length rather than one flat fee: £33.50 a month for 30 minutes, up to £39.50 for a full hour. That's a monthly commitment rather than a one-off ticket price, worth knowing before you say yes to three classes a week. For the taster itself, dress for movement, a T shirt and leggings rather than jeans, rubber-soled shoes, and a water bottle, though some disciplines are danced barefoot. They sell dancewear and shoes on site if you need to sort kit out on the spot.
Opening hours stretch across most of the week, including a Saturday morning slot finishing mid-afternoon.

What age can my child start?
From age three.
What should they wear?
