What it’s like
Themed role play for under sixes, from a play café to a construction site, in timed 70 minute sessions.
This one's built entirely around pretend play rather than climbing frames. There's a play café, a post office corner, a construction site, and a soft play area split into two, one upstairs for mixed ages and one downstairs strictly for under twelve months. For a toddler who's into stacking things and serving pretend coffee, it's a proper little world to disappear into for the session.
Sessions run 70 minutes and cost £7.95 a child, with one adult going in free and extra grown-ups at £3.50. Babies and non-walkers are £3.50 too. That's not far off soft play prices elsewhere but you're paying for the imaginative stuff rather than slides, so whether it lands depends on whether your child prefers a shop counter to a ball pit.
They say pre-booking isn't essential but it's recommended, which in practice means turning up on spec at a busy weekend slot is a gamble. Socks are compulsory (there are some for sale if you forget), and you can't bring your own food in, though the café does sell meals and drinks. Buggies are fine unless it's rammed, in which case you'll be asked to fold it down.
Beyond the daily sessions there's a run of clubs, Music and Movement, Character Club, Little Craft, Little Cooks, all a few pounds on top and clearly aimed at the same 0 to 6 crowd. Parties come as non-exclusive at £14.95 a child or a full exclusive hire for £325, which gets you two hours and up to twenty kids. Parking's free on site, which takes one cost worry off the list at least.
