What it’s like

A mini pretend town of little shops and buildings for small children to potter round and role-play in.

Instead of one big frame to climb, this is a whole miniature town scaled down for small people. There's a vet's, a school, a cottage and a castle to explore, plus a home corner, a coffee shop, an ice cream shop, a construction area, a garage and a shop, so the play here is all about pretending rather than climbing or sliding. It suits younger children particularly well, the sort who'd rather serve you a pretend coffee than launch themselves down a slide.

There's also a multi-sensory room for children with sensory needs, which is a proper thoughtful touch and not something every soft play bothers with. A dedicated baby area means you're not trying to keep a crawling one-year-old out of the way of older kids charging about the town. Baby changing is on site too.

It's open every day from half nine to five, which gives you a decent window to fit a visit round nap times or a toddler's usual grump hour. There's a café on site if you want a sit down with a coffee while the kids get on with running their pretend shops and schools.

Birthday parties get exclusive use of the space for two hours, up to 22 children, with party food and squash laid on for the kids and two hot drinks thrown in for the adults. You'd need to get in touch directly to sort pricing and a date, since there's no online booking to fall back on.
