Off the B2177 between Colden Common and Bishops Waltham. Off M3 J11 or M27 J10 (westbound) or J5 (eastbound). 8 miles from Winchester, 5 from Eastleigh, 12 from Southampton, 40 miles from Bournemouth, 16 miles from the New Forest, 19 miles from Portsmouth. Nearest stations: Southampton Airport Parkway (7 miles), Eastleigh (5 miles), Winchester (8 miles). Stagecoach 69 bus serves the zoo on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays from Winchester; a request stop at Fishers Pond runs Monday-Saturday but is a 20 minute walk on an unpaved, busy road. Coaches park free in the overflow car park with drop-off at the bus stop by the entrance roundabout. Nearest National Cycle Route is number 23 (5.2 miles), with a bike rack inside the admissions building.
