What it’s like
Swimming, flumes and a splash pad alongside Clip 'n Climb and InflataZone under one roof.
This one's built for a whole morning, not a quick dip. There's a 25m six-lane pool for proper swimming, a smaller pool with a moveable floor that changes depth depending on the session, and the Aqua Play pool with flumes and a splash pad for the ones who just want to get soaked. Add Clip 'n Climb and InflataZone into the mix and you've got a day that covers water and dry land without moving to a different building.
The moveable floor is the clever bit. It means the smaller pool can go shallow for a toddler session and deeper for something else entirely, so what suits your family on a Tuesday might not be what's running on a Saturday. Worth bearing in mind if you're planning around a specific pool rather than just turning up.
Clip 'n Climb and Aqua Play both need paying for in advance, and the site is upfront that spaces are limited, so pre-booking is advised if you don't want to turn up and find the session full. You can drop in and pay at reception instead, but that's the riskier option on a busy day.
There's a car park for members and guests, though you do need to register your car registration with reception when you arrive, which is an extra step but not a difficult one. A café and on-site food mean you don't have to plan around bringing your own snacks, and birthday parties are catered for if you fancy hosting one here instead of at home.
