What it’s like

Weekly drama and singing classes for kids and teens, with LAMDA exam prep built in alongside workshops and theatre camps.

This is a weekly drama and singing class rather than a one-off outing, so think term-time commitment rather than a day trip. Younger children join Mini Voices, with shorter 30 to 45 minute sessions, while the Voices and Little Voices groups run for 45 to 60 minutes depending on the venue. Expect singing, drama games and the kind of structured performance work that builds towards something, rather than free play.

LAMDA exams are part of the offer too, and the site is specific about how they work: your child walks into the exam room with a prop of their choosing, a toy, a photo or a book, introduces themselves and their poem, and performs with an accompanist playing the music. It's a nice bit of detail if your child is the sort who likes knowing exactly what's coming rather than being surprised on the day.

Beyond the regular classes there are workshops, theatre weeks and camps, useful if you want to fill a few days of the school holidays with something more structured than a soft play visit. Ages run from 4 up to 18, so it stretches from a shy five-year-old finding their feet through to a teenager working seriously towards an exam.
