What it’s like
Eighteen holes of crazy golf past waterfalls, cave tunnels and roaring animatronic dinosaurs.
You're not just knocking a ball round a flat green here. The course winds past cascading waterfalls, over island greens and through prehistoric cave tunnels, with near life-sized dinosaurs that roar and move as you go past. It's outdoor, so an eight-year-old who's into dinosaurs will be in their element, though you'll want to check the weather before you head out since there's no cover mentioned.
It's not cheap for a round of crazy golf. £9 a child, £11 an adult, or £35 for a family pass covering four people with at least two kids. If you fancy a second go, they knock the price down to half for a same-day second round, which is a decent trick if the kids don't want to stop after one lap.
They're open early, from 7:45am right up to 8pm, seven days a week, and last entry's at 8pm too. There's no booking system mentioned, so you can just turn up. One thing worth flagging: after dark the course uses strobe lighting, which is worth knowing if you've got a child who doesn't get on with flashing lights.
Birthday parties are on offer from £18 a child, with extras like a party room with an outside area, a dinosaur toy, and a scorecard and certificate to take home. That's a decent way to make a round of golf feel like more of an occasion.
