What it’s like

A multi-tiered soft play frame with a big slide and ball pit, but visits are capped at an hour and a half and weekends shut at 2pm.

The play frame is the thing: tiered levels to climb, a slide the site calls the highest safe one for miles around, and a ball pit at the bottom. Kids go up, come down, go up again. Under-twelves only, and the height and age limits are enforced rather than waved through, so a tall eleven-year-old might be turned away at the desk.

One and a half hours is your lot, timed as a visit rather than an open-ended stay. For a four-year-old that's about right; for an eight-year-old who's finally got the slide figured out, you'll be the one explaining why you have to leave. Weekend opening finishes at 2pm, which makes the morning the only real weekend slot, and Friday closes at 3.30pm too.

There's a café on site doing hot and cold food, and a second one in the centre if you want something different. Step-free entry, a lift to all floors, accessible toilets and changing places, so a wheelchair or a buggy isn't a problem.

Birthday parties get the whole soft play area to themselves: 60 minutes of play then 30 minutes in the party room, with invitations and a free return pass for the birthday child. That's the bit that'll stick with them.

Plan your visit

How long do we get?

One and a half hours per visit. It's a cap, not a guide.

What are the age and height limits?

Under 12s only, and children need to be under 1.48 metres tall to use the play equipment.

When are you open?

Monday to Thursday 10am to 6.45pm, Friday 10am to 3.30pm, and weekends 9.30am to 2pm. The weekend finish is the one that catches people out.

Is there a café?

One on-site café with hot and cold refreshments, and another café in the centre for food and drink.

Can we book a birthday party?

You get exclusive hire of the whole soft play area: 60 minutes of play plus 30 minutes of party time. Invitations and a free return pass for the birthday child come with it.

Is it OK for a toddler?

The frame is tiered and open, with a ball pit at the bottom, so a toddler will need you close by. There's no separate baby area listed.

Is it accessible?

Step-free entry, a lift to all floors, accessible toilets and changing places with showers. Assistance animals are welcome.

Can we bring a group?

Group bookings are available, along with lockers if you'd rather not carry coats round.

Is it indoors?

Yes, it's all inside, so rain doesn't change the plan.
