Holme Pierrepont Mini Golf

What it’s like

A 9-hole mini golf course with themed holes of varying difficulty in the Outdoor Adventure Zone at Holme Pierrepont.

Nine holes, set out with different levels of difficulty so it's not just a flat putt to the flag every time. It's part of the wider Outdoor Adventure Zone, so expect a bit of theming around the course rather than a plain municipal green.

A round takes about 30 minutes, which is about right for a round of golf before anyone gets bored of chasing a ball into a bunker. At £5 a head it's an easy one to add on if you're already at the park for the day, rather than a whole day out on its own.

Opening hours shift about depending on the day. Weekdays it runs across a longer window, from as early as 10am up to 7 or 8pm depending on the day, while weekends are shorter, 10am to 3:30pm. Worth building your visit around that shorter weekend slot if you're going on a Saturday or Sunday.

If it's a birthday you're planning, they do parties and group packages built around the golf, so it's not just a walk-up activity.
