What it’s like
Twenty-six lanes with bumpers and lightweight balls, then arcade games and pool tables once the scores are settled.
Bowling's the main event, twenty-six lanes of it, with bumpers and lightweight balls so a wobbly six-year-old still gets the odd strike. Once the game's done there's an arcade with play for prizes to lose an hour in, and American-style pool tables if anyone fancies a go at looking cool.
Games are timed at ten minutes per person, so two of you playing one game gets a twenty-minute slot. That maths matters when you're working out how long you'll actually be there, and it's easy to underestimate if there's a bigger group.
Food comes to the lane, ordered off a QR code on the table, which saves queuing at a counter mid-game. It's an American diner menu, burgers, hot dogs, nuggets, plus a bar for the grown-ups. They can't guarantee anything's free from nuts, and there's no hot water on site for warming a bottle, so pack a flask if you need one.
It's indoors, so a wet Saturday is a fine time to go. Parking's free on site, there are slopes and disabled toilets throughout, and ball ramps for wheelchair users. Open-toed shoes aren't allowed on the lanes, which is easy to forget in summer. Birthday parties run from six guests up with bowling, food and Play 4 Prize tickets included.

Plan your visit
How long does a game take?
They allow ten minutes per person per game, so two people playing one game get a twenty minute slot. Book more games and the slot stretches accordingly.
Do we need to book?
There's no booking link listed, but with capped lane times it's the sort of place that fills up, especially evenings and weekends.
Is there parking?
Free parking on site, with blue badge spaces too.
Can we eat while we bowl?
Food and drink can be ordered to your lane using a QR code, or from the diner and bar. They can't guarantee dishes are free from severe allergens since nuts are handled on site.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Slopes give step-free access, and there are ball ramps, lane bumpers set up for wheelchair users, and disabled toilets.
What about under-18s in the evening?
Under-18s need a responsible adult with them after 8pm, and aren't allowed in the bar area after 9pm.
Do you do birthday parties?
Yes, from six guests up, with bowling, food and Play 4 Prize tickets included, and typically up to 18 to 24 guests per party.
What shoes do we need?
Nothing open-toed is allowed on the lanes for safety, so leave the sandals in the car.
