What it’s like
An indoor 50m pool, a soft play hall on Thursdays and Sundays, and junior swimming from £2.90 on the edge of Uxbridge.
The pool is the reason most families come: a 50m indoor main pool, a teaching pool for the ones still getting used to water, and family swim sessions the site lists as Swim for All. Junior swimming from £2.90 a child and £5.55 for a resident adult at peak, which is a lot less than a private pool would set you back. Lockers need a £1 token, so dig out a coin before you get changed.
Aqua Splash is the bit your older kids will pester you about. It's an inflatable obstacle course run in the pool, open to adults as well as children, but it goes into the deep end. Only competent swimmers aged 8 and over, and they have to pass a swim test and wear a wristband on the day. Under-16s and weaker swimmers wear one of the buoyancy aids the centre provides. Book that one in advance.
Outside the water, soft play takes over the sports hall on Thursdays and Sundays, best suited to the under-eights. There's a 400m floodlit athletics track with junior tickets at £2.25, junior gym for 11 to 17s at £7, badminton from £11.50 for 40 minutes, and 3G pitches to hire. Watch the track hours if that's your plan: it runs 16:00 to 20:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays only, it's closed most of Thursday to Sunday, and it's members-only at certain times.
In summer the outdoor lido and splash pool open from 4 April to 31 October, £8 for a resident adult and £4.75 for a junior. It's a separate price from the indoor pool, and the non-resident rates jump, £11.40 for an adult. One café sits inside the main entrance with drinks and snacks, and there's indoor seating if you need to park a buggy and feed a baby. Parking is the faff: 245 paid spaces with only 30 minutes free for Hillingdon residents. Hours vary across the building, so check the pool times against the café's if you're planning around lunch.

How much is swimming?
Junior 4-15 tickets are £2.90 at peak. Adults pay £5.55 resident or £6.40 non-resident at peak, dropping to £4.65 and £5.15 off peak. Lockers take a £1 token.
Can my eight-year-old do Aqua Splash?
If they can swim. It goes into the deep end, so it's competent swimmers aged 8 and over only, and they have to pass a swim test and wear a wristband. Under-16s wear one of the buoyancy aids provided.
Is Aqua Splash only for children?
No, adults can use the inflatable obstacle course too. Everyone needs appropriate swimwear.
Do we need to book Aqua Splash?
Sessions are booked online or through the Better UK app. Members get 7-day priority booking.
When is the soft play on?
Thursdays and Sundays, in the sports hall. It suits the younger end, roughly up to eight.
What ages is the place good for?
Under-eights get the most out of it: teaching pool, soft play and the splash pool. Older ones have the track, junior gym from 11, badminton and the 3G pitches.
When can we use the athletics track?
Mondays and Wednesdays, 16:00 to 20:00. It's closed most of Thursday to Sunday and members-only at certain times. Junior tickets are £2.25.
Is the outdoor lido open?
From 4 April to 31 October 2026. £8 for a resident adult, £11.40 non-resident, £4.75 for a resident junior.
What about parking?
245 spaces on site and you pay. The first 30 minutes are free for Hillingdon residents, so a quick drop-off works but a full swim doesn't.
Is there somewhere to eat?
One café inside the main entrance does hot and cold drinks and snacks, with indoor seating. An outside café area opens when the weather allows.
Can we book a birthday party?
They run soft play and pool parties, aimed at younger guests. Book through the website or the app.
What are the opening hours?
05:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 20:00 Saturday and 08:00 to 18:00 Sunday. The café follows the weekday hours. Parts of the building keep different times, so check the one you're going for.
