What it’s like
A big play frame plus a separate toddler zone, sold in 90 minute sessions with a café that lets you bring drinks in.
The main frame is where the bigger kids will head first, and there's a toddler zone kept separate for the under-threes who'd otherwise get flattened by a seven-year-old on a mission. It suits the full 0 to 10 range the site lists, though the sweet spot is probably somewhere in the middle where a child is steady on their feet but still small enough to enjoy the toddler bit too.
Sessions run for 90 minutes, and with under-1s free, £6 for ages 1 to 3 and £7 for 4 and up, it's not going to break the bank for a wet Tuesday morning. There's no need to book ahead for a normal visit, you just turn up, though last entry for a full session is 3:30pm so don't leave it too late in the day. It's open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 4pm, which means no Sunday or Monday visits if that's your usual day off.
The café does coffee and hot drinks, and handily they'll let you bring your order into the play area, so you're not stuck watching from a table while your toddler waves at you from the ball pit. There's no mention of proper meals.
Birthday parties get their own slot: 60 minutes of soft play followed by 30 minutes in a party room, weekday afternoons or a few Saturday sessions, starting from £11 to £12 a head with a minimum of 10 children. A £50 deposit books it, and the birthday child gets a free return pass, which is a nice touch for the inevitable "can we go back" on the drive home.
