What it’s like
A weekend of tribute acts and live music on the green, with a Sunday lunchtime slot built for younger children.
Two days of live music across a Saturday and Sunday, with tribute acts filling the bill and gates open from midday both days. Saturday runs on until 11pm, Sunday wraps up earlier at 7.30pm, which makes it the easier day if you've got a bedtime to hit. Sunday lunchtime also has Giggles on the Green, a slot with music and activities aimed squarely at families with younger children, so that's the bit to plan around if your crowd is under ten.
It isn't a cheap day out. A weekend adult ticket is £54, with under-sixes free but still needing a booked ticket and a wristband. Anyone under 18 has to be with an adult who's over 21, and they do check ID if you look under 25, so this isn't a drop-the-teenager-off kind of event. You can bring a picnic and your own alcohol, just not after 6pm and not in glass, and barbecues are off the list too.
If you fancy planting yourselves in one spot all day, gazebo pitches are bookable in advance, though the front row for Saturday alone was already sold out at time of writing. Tents and sunshades are allowed but only the small pop-up kind under a metre high, so leave the family-sized ones at home. Parking's free on site and run by a local charity that appreciates a donation, and you can even leave your car overnight as long as it's gone by 8am Monday.
Food-wise there are vendors and licensed bars on site alongside whatever you bring yourself. Tickets come as e-tickets with a £1.50 booking fee, or you can buy at the gate from midday if you'd rather take your chances on the day.

Under-sixes get in free but still need a ticket and wristband. Sunday lunchtime has Giggles on the Green, aimed at families with younger children.
