What it’s like
A soft play frame, slides and a climbing wall for kids to have a go on, in timed two-hour sessions.
The big draw here is the play frame and slides, plus a climbing wall that's open to kids and adults if anyone fancies a go themselves. There's messy play and crafts too, so it's not just bouncing about, and younger ones get pulled into something a bit calmer if the frame's too much.
Sessions run for two hours and you book a slot rather than just turning up, which is a bit of a faff if you're the spontaneous type but does mean you're not queuing at the door. Prices are banded by age, from under ones up to the 6-11s, and adults get in for next to nothing at 55p. The climbing wall itself is an add-on, a 15-minute session for £6, but you can only book it alongside an admission, not on its own, so decide before you turn up if that's the bit your seven-year-old will actually want.
