What it’s like
Archery, air rifles, laser tag and grass sledging in the woods, all booked in advance around what your kids fancy trying.
This is an activity list you'll want to read twice: archery, air rifles, tomahawk throwing, climbing, laser tag, disc golf, a driving range and grass sledging, plus quieter stuff like pond dipping and a bee keeping experience. It's not a turn-up-and-see venue. You pick activities in advance and build the day around them, which means a bit more planning than most places but also means your six-year-old isn't standing about waiting for a slot.
Age four is the minimum, but the sharper stuff has its own rules. Under-8s are kept off air rifles and tomahawk throwing, and anyone under 18 needs written permission from a parent before they can pick up an air rifle at all, so sort that paperwork before you arrive rather than at the gate. Climbing's got its own limits too: you need to be over 1.1m and between 3 and 17 stone, and it doesn't run in December or January, so save that one for a warmer visit.
Birthday parties start from age 4, with Silver, Gold or Summer Garden packages to choose from, each letting you pick the activities that suit the group. Whether it's a party or just a day out, the campfire and pizza oven feel like the bit to end on once everyone's had a go on the barrel carts and sumo suits.
Everything here depends on weather and instructor availability, so a booked slot can shift if conditions turn. The office runs weekdays, 9am to 1pm, excluding bank holidays, which is your window for sorting bookings and any questions.

Plan your visit
Do we need to book activities in advance?
You do, everything here runs on pre-booked sessions rather than walk-in slots.
What age can kids start?
Four is the minimum age listed, though some activities have their own limits above that.
Can my seven-year-old do the air rifles or tomahawk throwing?
Not yet, both are off-limits under age 8.
What about the written permission for air rifles?
Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign off before they can take part, so get that done ahead of the visit rather than on the day.
Is climbing available all year?
It stops for December and January. There's also a height and weight limit, over 1.1m and between 3 and 17 stone.
Can we book birthday parties here?
From age 4 up, with Silver, Gold or Summer Garden packages and a choice of activities for the group.
What if the weather's bad on the day?
Activities are weather and instructor dependent, so a booked session can move if conditions are against you.
When can we call the office?
Weekdays, 9am to 1pm, not on bank holidays. That's your window for booking and questions.
What will the kids remember most?
Probably the campfire and pizza oven at the end of the day, once they've done the laser tag and barrel carts.
