WHERE

Wembley

What it’s like

A Chinese and East Asian restaurant in Wembley serving from noon to nine or ten, five minutes' walk from Alperton and Hangar Lane.

A long, unfussy Chinese and East Asian menu, served from midday onwards. Lunch is the calm slot if you're bringing children; evenings fill up later, with Friday and Saturday running an extra hour to 22:00 while the rest of the week closes at 21:00. A 21:00 close on a Sunday means you want to be seated by about half seven, not rocking up at eight.

It's a straightforward sit-down meal rather than anything with a kids' angle bolted on, so plan for a proper dinner rather than a quick in-and-out. Weekends are the ones to think about: Friday and Saturday are the latest nights and the ones where a table's most likely to be a wait. No booking link is offered, so unless that changes you'd be turning up and taking your chances.

Getting there is the easy part, with Alperton and Hangar Lane both about five minutes on foot, which is the better bet than driving round Wembley. Worth knowing if you're bringing a wheelchair user: there's no wheelchair access here, so this one won't work for every group.

Plan your visit

What are the opening hours?

Noon to 21:00 Monday to Thursday and Sunday, and noon to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday. Sunday's the early finish, so aim to be seated by around half seven.

Do we need to book?

There's no booking link on their site, so it's a turn-up job unless that changes. Friday and Saturday are the busy ones.

How do we get there?

Alperton and Hangar Lane stations are both about a five-minute walk. Easier than parking around Wembley.

Is it accessible for wheelchairs?

No, there's no wheelchair access. That rules it out if someone in your group uses a wheelchair.
