The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is at 8a Victoria Street in Eastwood (NG16 3AW), run by Broxtowe Borough Council. It is a Grade II listed terraced house telling Lawrence's early life and Broxtowe's wider heritage - a small indoor heritage stop rather than a full-day attraction.
Self-guided admission is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10am-4pm (no need to book). Adults are £7.50, concessions £6.75, Broxtowe residents and LLeisure gym members £1.50 with proof, and children are free. Guided tours need booking in advance (adults £10, concessions £9.25). Historic Houses members go free.
There is no lift and no wheelchair access to the upper floors; staff can offer a live digital tour of the house from the ground-floor shop if stairs are a problem.
