What it’s like
One-to-one and small-group English tuition, from £60 a private lesson up to £465 for a 15-hour IELTS course.
This is adult evening-class territory, not a kids' venue, so read it as something for you: face-to-face English workshops, small groups of three or four, and a free level test before you commit to anything. There are online sessions if travelling to Watford doesn't suit, and mock university admission interviews with feedback if that's the deadline you're working towards. IELTS and OET are the ones I'd save for last if you're just browsing, purely because of the commitment. Life in the UK prep at £449 is aimed at a specific test rather than general improvement, so it's only worth it if that's actually on your horizon. There's a membership scheme, which suggests regulars rather than one-offs.
If you're booking a course before a university interview or an exam date, the mock interview and personal statement sessions are the ones to line up first, since they need lead time to be useful. Some of the newer courses have no reviews up yet, so for those you're going on the outline rather than other people's experience.

How much does a lesson cost?

Do I have to buy a pack, or can I try one session?
