What it’s like

Rollercoasters, a splash pool with slides and indoor soft play all on one site near Burnham-on-Sea.

This is a proper multi-ride day out rather than a single attraction, so the trick is picking what you actually want to do before you get swallowed up by it all. There are rollercoasters for the ones who've outgrown the teacups, and Unity Splash for swimming, sliding and general soaking about, which from what they list is a whole separate water park bolted onto the side of the theme park bit.

If the weather turns, or you've got a toddler who isn't up for a coaster, the indoor soft play has three different areas to disappear into, which buys you a good hour without anyone getting rained on. There's also live entertainment through the day if you fancy sitting down for twenty minutes with a coffee while the kids watch someone else do the entertaining.

For the grown-ups, or the teenagers who've declared themselves too old for rides, there's a golf course on site too. It means a family with wildly different ideas of a good afternoon can actually all turn up to the same postcode and do their own thing for a bit before regrouping.

It's the sort of place where you could easily lose a whole day without meaning to, between the rides, the pool and the soft play. Just don't expect to do all of it in one visit with small kids in tow, pick two or three things and save the rest for next time.
