What it’s like
A three-level themed play frame, a four-lane racing slide and an outdoor climbing galleon for kids up to 12.
The big draw is the three-level frame, split into Under the Sea, Jungle and Outer Space zones, with a four-lane racing slide that'll have siblings racing each other rather than you. There's a ball pool, a sports zone and a tunnel slide to mop up the rest of the energy, and when you need a change of scene there's an outdoor climbing galleon, a racetrack and a playhouse. Babies and toddlers get their own area too, so a four-year-old and a ten-year-old can both find something without one of them getting flattened.
If you've got a toddler under four, the weekday morning toddler session is the one to book: £4.95 gets one parent and one toddler in, with a free juice and biscuit thrown in, and you can stay as long as you like within the 9.20am to 3.30pm term-time window. Outside of that it runs on set two-hour-ish slots, mornings, midday, afternoon and evening on weekends and school holidays, so check which slot fits nap time before you head out. Booking's needed, either online or on the door.
There's food on site, from the Grub Hut café for snacks to a proper restaurant doing hot and cold meals, which saves you a trip out if the whole visit runs longer than planned. Parking's free but only in the designated car parks, either the nursery car park under the yellow barrier or the main one by Tim Hortons, and it's the kind of detail that's easy to miss until you get a ticket you weren't expecting.
Birthday parties are clearly a big part of the business, with themed rooms running most days and a pizza party option on weekday afternoons in term time. The standard Bermuda Theme party gets you an hour of play, 45 minutes in the party room, cupcakes and a slush for the kids, plus two coffee vouchers for the parent hosting. Every birthday child gets a free return play voucher too, which is a nice reason to come back without paying full whack again.
