What it’s like

Eighty-odd activities across sports halls, art rooms and a motorsports track, in a holiday camp that runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

It's a holiday day camp rather than a drop-in play session, and it runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm on the days it's open. Four to fourteen year olds pick from around 80 activities across six sessions in a day, so your eight-year-old can do archery in the morning and motorsports after lunch while a four-year-old stays with the arts and dance rooms.

The kit list of spaces is the bit that surprises you: a sports hall, a dance studio, a motorsports track, art rooms and playing fields. Six activity slots a day means they're choosing their own way through it rather than being marched round as one group. Archery has a minimum age of 8, so if you've got a six-year-old who's set on it, that's a wait. The aqua slide and water park only run in summer, which is worth knowing if you're booking an Easter week and expecting water.

Easter and summer holidays are the only times it runs here; October half term moves to the Chislehurst camp. Early and Late Clubs stretch the day to 8am to 6pm and cost extra on top of the standard day. Flex is the booking add-on worth thinking about: £4 per day, and it lets you amend right up to the last working day before your child attends or claim a refund if they're ill. Without it, you can shift dates inside the same holiday up to 14 days ahead but there's no refund. Skills Builder courses have small numbers and fill up, so those are the ones to book first.

It's 0.3 miles from Hayes (Kent) Station with easy M25 access. Booking early gets the better rates, and there are daily or weekly options plus low deposits and interest-free monthly instalments. Sibling discount takes £5 per day per child off with the code SIBLING10. You can pay with Tax-Free Childcare, online or over the phone, though the payment takes 7 to 10 working days to land.

Plan your visit

What ages is it for?

Four to fourteen. The activities split by age, so a four-year-old isn't doing the same thing as a twelve-year-old.

How much does a day cost?

Rates aren't something I can quote from what's listed. What's clear is that booking early gets the best rates, and there are daily and weekly options.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Standard days run 8.30am to 5.30pm. The Early and Late Clubs extend that to 8am to 6pm and cost extra on top.

Can I change my booking if my child is ill?

Only with Flex, the £4 per day add-on. Flex lets you amend up to the last working day before attendance and covers illness. Non-Flex bookings can be shifted within the same holiday period up to 14 days before, but they're non-refundable.

Does it run in October half term?

Not here. The camp is Easter and summer only, and October runs at the Chislehurst camp instead.

Can my child do archery?

From age 8. Archery has a minimum age, so younger children pick from the rest of the activities.

Is the water play open?

The aqua slide and water park are summer only, so they won't be running during the Easter camp.

Is there a sibling discount?

£5 per day per child off with the code SIBLING10.

Can I pay with Tax-Free Childcare?

You can use it as full or part payment, online or over the phone. The payment takes 7 to 10 working days to arrive, so start it before the camp week.

Can I spread the cost?

Low deposits and interest-free monthly instalments are available if you book early.

Anything I should book first?

Skills Builder courses have limited spaces and book up, so those go early.

How do we get there?

It's 0.3 miles from Hayes (Kent) Station, with easy M25 access.
