Arcades, VR & Gaming in Leicester
Two very different options for Leicester if you're after arcades, VR or gaming. Claw Kingdom, about three km out from the centre, is all about the claw machines loaded with plushies, and if you fancy something sillier there's the Human Claw, where you get harnessed up to grab giant prizes yourself. Prices start from £33. Closer in, just a km from the centre, Spin Pin is an indoor roller rink with a 90-minute skate from £9.95, and once you've had enough of skating you can bowl or hit the arcade machines. For younger children, Spin Pin's £9.95 skate session is the easier, cheaper start, and it suits ages five and up. It's also the better pick if you want food and drink sorted, with a cafe on site, plus parking, lockers and toilets, and it's wheelchair accessible, though booking ahead is required. Claw Kingdom is more of a one-off treat for a birthday, especially if the Human Claw is the draw. Both are indoor, so weather won't get in the way of your plans.
