Soft Play in Hull

Rainy afternoons in Hull have a proper answer these days. Inflata Nation, out at around six kilometres from the centre, is less soft play and more inflatable arena, with a vast ball pit, drop slides and a climbing wall for anyone past nought. In Cottingham, Blue Kangaroo keeps it simple for babies up to eight-year-olds, and adults get in for just £2. Further out, FunForest in Brigg has four levels of frame, an Astra slide and a spiral climb, plus a fenced area for the smallest ones, though it is a longer trip from Hull. For toddlers, Blue Kangaroo's low price and baby-friendly layout is hard to beat, and it sits close to the centre. If you want a bigger day out with older kids, Inflata Nation's climbing wall and slides give them more to do, and there is a café on site. Grimsby's Time 4 Play, a longer drive out, has a three-level frame and a menu that stretches to a proper lunch rather than just chips. If you fancy something different altogether, Bugtopia in Hornsea is a bug and reptile trail, not a trampoline in sight, despite the name.
