Science & Discovery Centres in Glasgow
Glasgow's science offering here comes down to one, but it is a good one. The Hunterian, part of Glasgow University and close to the centre, is free to get in and covers anatomy, science and art under one roof. There is no soft play area, so this suits kids who like to look and ask questions rather than climb and jump. Being indoors and free makes it an easy choice for a wet afternoon or a top-up visit without spending anything. It leans towards curious older children and adults more than toddlers, given the subject matter, though the building itself is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets on site. Worth pairing with a walk round the surrounding university grounds afterwards.
