Connecting with Collections: Enjoying Simple Treasures

A collections session at Weston Park Museum where visitors get to explore and enjoy simple treasures from the museum's holdings.

Connecting with Collections: Enjoying Simple Treasures is a session held at Weston Park Museum in Sheffield, giving visitors the chance to get closer to objects from the museum's collections. It's part of the museum's ongoing programme of talks and events that sit alongside its permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions. Weston Park Museum is free to enter, with a suggested £5 donation, and is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm, closed Mondays including bank holidays. The museum tells the story of Sheffield and its people from prehistory to the present day, and this event offers a chance to look more closely at some of the smaller, simpler items held in its collections.
