Mini Play for Babies (Autumn Series)

A three-week sensory and creative play workshop series at Young V&A for babies under 1 with their parents or carers.

Mini Play for Babies is a themed sensory workshop series in the Play Studio, Learning Centre at Young V&A, designed for babies under 1 and their guardians. Each 90-minute session combines messy play, child-led hands-on activity and exploring museum objects inspired by the Young V&A's Play Gallery, with a typical structure of settling down and welcome, free play and exploration, and circle time. Fridays are led by artist and author Ella Phillips with themes including Falling Leaves, Comfort Food and Getting Cosy, while Mondays are led by artist Natalie Zervou-Kerruish with themes including Twist and Turn, Press and Squeeze and Grab and Grasp. Each ticket admits one child and one accompanying adult, and children must be supervised throughout. Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy, and note there's a buggy park as prams can't go into the studio. Booking is essential and each date must be booked separately; tickets are non-refundable. This session is for babies under 1 - if your child is between 1 and 3, book Mini Play for Toddlers instead.
