Sunday Art Club: Felt Fancies

Free drop-in Sunday Art Club at Walsall's New Art Gallery, making a soft toy felt creation with simple sewing.

Head along to the New Art Gallery Walsall for Felt Fancies, a free drop-in session where children can make their own soft toy using simple sewing techniques. Glueing and plastic needle options are available, so it suits those who aren't yet confident with a needle and thread as well as those who are. It's aimed at ages 4 and up, and no booking is needed, just turn up on the day. This is part of the gallery's regular Sunday Art Club, where children and young people can meet artists and creatives and try painting, printing, sculpting and craft activities each week. The gallery relies on sponsorship and donations to keep these workshops free for families throughout the year.
