A free monthly geology lecture series at Kelvin Hall, open to all to attend.

The Geological Society of Glasgow runs this free, public lecture series at Kelvin Hall on the second Thursday of every month, running from 7pm to 9pm. Talks cover geological topics and are open to anyone with an interest in rocks, fossils or the wider earth sciences, whether you have a background in the subject or are simply curious. There's no charge to attend, and the series runs through the year at the same venue, so it's easy to make it a regular date if you find a topic that grabs you.
