The Girl On The Train

Newport Playgoers Society stages The Girl on the Train, a tense thriller about a woman drawn into a missing person case.

Newport Playgoers Society bring The Girl on the Train to the Dolman Theatre stage, telling the story of Rachel, an alcoholic who becomes entangled in a missing person case after witnessing something from her commute. As she inserts herself into the investigation, fragmented memories, obsession and deception blur truth and illusion, building to a tense uncovering of hidden relationships and a dangerous reality. This is a dramatic, adult-themed thriller suited to an evening at the theatre rather than a family outing. It runs at the Dolman Theatre in Newport from 14 to 17 October.
