Robert Ryman: A New Way of Seeing symposium

A free half-day symposium at The Courtauld exploring Robert Ryman's work, tied to his Barbican retrospective.

This half-day symposium marks the major retrospective of American painter Robert Ryman's work on show at the Barbican Art Gallery. Held as part of The Courtauld's Research Forum programme, it brings together speakers for talks and discussion on Ryman's art and influence. It suits adults with an interest in art history and contemporary painting rather than a family day out. The event is free but booking is essential, and it runs as part of the Courtauld Institute's ongoing Research Forum series of lectures and panel discussions.
