Free talk and panel on American feminist painter Mira Schor, 18:00-20:00 on 12 October 2026 at the Courtauld's Vernon Square Campus.
The Courtauld hosts an artist talk and panel marking the solo exhibition Wet/London by American artist Mira Schor at Mimosa House. Each speaker will talk for fifteen minutes on an aspect of Mira's work, followed by a roundtable conversation and Q&A. Panelists are Dr Alexandra Kokoli (Middlesex University), Tatjana Schaefer (PhD candidate, Courtauld Institute of Art) and Daria Han (Founding Director and Curator, Mimosa House, London), moderated by Dr Catherine Grant (Reader, Courtauld Institute of Art), with the event organised by Professor Jo Applin FBA. This is a talk for adults interested in art history and feminist art practice rather than a family event. It's free but booking is essential, and it takes place at the Courtauld's Vernon Square Campus, Lecture Theatre 2 (WC1X 9EW), not the main Somerset House gallery.
